Rose tattoo designs although a flower it is one of the designs that is popular for both men and women. You may think that the rose is a feminine symbol however there are also very masculine applications for the design. The traditional floral emblem of England is the Tudor Rose. It takes its origins from the Tudor Dynasty so there is immense history behind the symbol. The Tudor Rose was the emblem of 2 famous feuding English families. The Labour party emblem. The England rugby team have it as their emblem on the playing strip. Roses, especially red roses have always been associated with love and passion. Tattoo rose designs are popular because the rose has always been a symbolic flower. Roses are always given on Valentines Day and on occasions such as anniversaries, when making up or apologizing to a loved one. Another inspiration for some people to get tattoos are rock bands. Guns n Roses are a classic rock band that have a hugh following. The majority of the band members in G n R's have tattoos. Many fans around that time liked to imitate band members by getting tattooed with images of gun n roses. Blokes need not worry about the stigma associated with having a rose tattoo. Rose tattoos have been inked on many males and they can be tastefully incorporated into other designs. Rose images incorporated into celtic or tribal design are common. Often roses themes are used as a memorial to departed loved ones. This I have seen a lot guys who are paying tribute to someone very special. Rose tattoo designs come in many different styles for men and women. Incorporated into other styles or on their own they continue to be the most popular flower tattoo around.
