Man Boobs - Get Rid Of Them

For men who want a ripped looking chest, wanting to get rid of man boobs is certainly understandable. Not only is it embarrassing to be seen shirtless, some men feel that it deflects from their masculinity. But the truth is man boobs, or gynecomastia, has nothing to do with true masculinity, but is caused by two common factors: 1. Hormone fluctuations. Puberty is often the culprit here for teenage boys. These hormone fluctuations can cause breast to become enlarged and sensitive. If this is your case, you’ll be relieved to know you’ll probably just have to wait it out to get rid of man boobs. 2. Being overweight. Man boobs occur when excess fat is settled on your chest. Once you pass puberty and still need to get rid of man boobs, the problem is not hormones and is most likely your diet. . But don’t get discouraged – there are three simple steps you can take to get rid of man boobs once and for all. Change your diet Many experts recommend that your diet consist of 60% carbohydrates, 35% protein and 15% fat. Whole wheat grains and breads are important for a healthy diet – avoid processed sugars and white flour. . You’ll burn more calories if you eat more frequently, 5 to 6 times per day. Watch your portion size – they matter.You could be eating rabbit food all day, but if you're eating pounds of it you’re not going to drop the weight. If you use a smaller plate you won’t have to worry so much about measuring your portions. Weight training There is a reason cut looking men workout with weights to maintain their body shape -- it's an excellent fat burning strategy. You can burn lots of calories while strength training with weights. Plus, you’ll build muscles that continue to burn calories even when you're not using them. But the best part is you’ll develop your chest muscles so that when you do get rid of the fat, you’ll see a sculpted chest. Aerobics Aerobic exercise has many benefits: uses up calories, is good for your heart and other organs, as well as your overall mental and physical health. Many men enjoy aerobics to burn fat because there are so many different ways to do it. You can play basketball, racquetball, go for a run, swim laps, play a brisk game of tennis, or use the different machines you can find in a gym. Just make sure you work out at high intensity three times a week for at least 20 minutes. When you combine aerobic exercises with weight training and diet, it will just be a matter of months before you get rid of your man boobs. There is one other option available but should probably be your last consideration. In some instances, men may prefer breast reduction or liposuction. While surgery may be the fastest way to reach your goal, making changes in your diet and exercise routine has far fewer risks involved. Plus, you can tone more than your chest with healthy living – your entire body will benefit. Putting forth the effort to get rid of man boobs the “old-fashioned” way will reap the most benefits for you in the long run – a good looking, ripped and chiseled chest. |
